From easy + going; recorded in English from the late 17th–18th century, originally meaning ‘moving without difficulty’, later also ‘relaxed in temperament’.
easy और going से बना; अंग्रेज़ी में इसका प्रयोग 17वीं–18वीं शताब्दी के उत्तरार्ध से मिलता है—पहले अर्थ ‘आसानी से चलने/आगे बढ़ने वाला’, बाद में ‘स्वभाव से शांत/आरामपसंद’ के अर्थ में भी।
