From “dork” (slang for a foolish, socially awkward person; later also ‘nerdy’), + “-y”; “dorkiest” is formed by adding “-est” as the superlative. The slang “dork” is attested in American English from the mid-20th century.

Definition
“Dorkiest” is the superlative of “dorky” and describes someone or something that is the most awkward, uncool, unfashionable, or (often affectionately) nerdy in a group. It can be teasing or playful rather than truly insulting, depending on tone and context.
