Definition
A deontologist is an ethicist (or moral thinker) who holds that some actions are right or wrong because of moral duties, principles, or rules, regardless of the outcomes; for example, telling the truth may be considered obligatory even if it leads to harm.
डिओन्टोलॉजिस्ट (कर्तव्य-आधारित नैतिकता का समर्थक/अध्येता) वह व्यक्ति है जो मानता है कि कुछ कार्य नैतिक कर्तव्यों, सिद्धांतों या नियमों के कारण सही या गलत होते हैं, परिणामों के कारण नहीं; जैसे सत्य बोलना नुकसान होने पर भी कर्तव्य माना जा सकता है।
