Formed in modern English from denotative + the noun-forming suffix -ness (based on denote < Latin denotare).
आधुनिक अंग्रेज़ी में denotative + संज्ञा-निर्माता प्रत्यय -ness से निर्मित (denote < लैटिन denotare ‘चिह्नित करना/दर्शाना’ पर आधारित)।
Definition
Denotativeness is the extent to which a term conveys its direct, literal reference, with minimal emotional or cultural associations.
डिनोटेटिवनेस वह स्तर है जिसमें कोई शब्द/चिह्न अपने सीधे, शाब्दिक संदर्भ (डिनोटेशन) को व्यक्त करता है और भावनात्मक या सांस्कृतिक संकेतार्थ (कोनोटेशन) को कम से कम रखता है।
