Definition
A daybook is a daily record where transactions or events are first written down in chronological order, often before being posted to ledgers (in bookkeeping). It can also mean a diary-like record of day-to-day notes.
डे-बुक वह दैनिक रजिस्टर/रिकॉर्ड है जिसमें लेन-देन या घटनाएँ सबसे पहले क्रमवार (दिनांक के अनुसार) लिखी जाती हैं, विशेषकर लेखांकन में लेजर में चढ़ाने से पहले। इसका अर्थ दिन-प्रतिदिन के नोट्स वाला डायरी-जैसा रिकॉर्ड भी हो सकता है।
