Definition
To counteract means to take action or have an effect that reduces, neutralizes, or cancels the force or results of something else (often something harmful or unwanted). It can also mean deliberately acting against a plan, effort, or action to prevent it from succeeding.
Counteract का अर्थ है ऐसा कार्य करना या ऐसा प्रभाव डालना जो किसी दूसरी चीज़ (अक्सर हानिकारक/अवांछित) के असर को कम करे, निष्प्रभावी करे या संतुलित/रद्द कर दे। इसका अर्थ किसी योजना या प्रयास के विरुद्ध जान-बूझकर काम करके उसे सफल होने से रोकना भी है।
