From Greek koryphaîos (“of the κορυφή / κορυφή, summit; leader”), from koryphḗ (“head, peak”), via Latin coryphaeus (“leader of the chorus”).
यूनानी koryphaîos (अर्थ: ‘शिखर/शीर्ष से संबंधित; नेता’) और koryphḗ (‘सिर, चोटी’) से, लैटिन coryphaeus (‘कोरस का नेता’) के माध्यम से अंग्रेज़ी में आया।
Definition
Coryphaei are the leading members of a group—especially the leaders of a chorus in classical Greek drama, and by extension the chief spokespeople or most prominent figures in any field.
