Definition
Congress can mean (1) a meeting or formal conference where people gather to discuss decisions, (2) an association of representatives or groups, and (3) when capitalized (Congress), the legislature of a state—most commonly the bicameral U.S. legislative body (Senate and House of Representatives). In older/literary use it can also mean sexual intercourse.
Congress का अर्थ (1) लोगों की बैठक या औपचारिक सम्मेलन जहाँ चर्चा/निर्णय होते हैं, (2) प्रतिनिधियों/समूहों का संघ या संगठन, और (3) बड़े अक्षर में (Congress) किसी राज्य की विधायिका—विशेषकर अमेरिका की द्विसदनीय विधायिका (सीनेट और प्रतिनिधि सभा) होता है। पुराने/साहित्यिक प्रयोग में इसका अर्थ संभोग भी हो सकता है।
