Origin & History
From Latin 'condominium' meaning 'joint rule/ownership' (con- 'together' + dominium 'ownership, lordship'), adopted into modern legal and real-estate use.
लैटिन 'condominium' (अर्थ: संयुक्त शासन/संयुक्त स्वामित्व) से; con- 'साथ' + dominium 'स्वामित्व/अधिपत्य'। बाद में आधुनिक क़ानूनी और रियल-एस्टेट प्रयोग में प्रचलित हुआ।
Definition
Condominiums are housing units (often apartments) that are owned by individuals, while hallways, lifts, gardens, parking, and other common areas are jointly owned and managed by an association.
कोंडोमिनियम (अक्सर अपार्टमेंट) ऐसे आवासीय यूनिट होते हैं जिनका स्वामित्व अलग-अलग व्यक्तियों के पास होता है, जबकि गलियारे, लिफ्ट, बगीचा, पार्किंग और अन्य साझा हिस्सों का संयुक्त स्वामित्व होता है और उनका प्रबंधन एक एसोसिएशन/समिति करती है।
