From bookbinding terminology: a “case” is the separately made hard cover (boards and spine covering) that is later attached to the text block; “bound” means fastened/secured as a book.
पुस्तक-बाइंडिंग की शब्दावली से: “केस” वह अलग से बनाया गया हार्ड कवर (बोर्ड और स्पाइन कवरिंग) है जिसे बाद में पन्नों के ब्लॉक से जोड़ा जाता है; “बाउंड” का अर्थ है पुस्तक की तरह बाँधा/जकड़ा हुआ।

Describing a book that is bound with rigid boards (a hard cover) attached to the sewn or glued pages, usually with a spine covering for durability.
ऐसे पुस्तक-बाइंडिंग के लिए कहा जाता है जिसमें पन्नों के ब्लॉक के साथ कठोर बोर्ड/कवर (हार्ड कवर) लगाए जाते हैं, प्रायः रीढ़ (स्पाइन) भी ढकी होती है ताकि किताब अधिक टिकाऊ बने।
