Definition
In meroblastic cleavage (common in eggs with much yolk), the blastodisk is the localized disc of cytoplasm and dividing cells at the animal pole; it forms the early embryonic structures and gives rise to the embryo.
मेरॉब्लास्टिक विभाजन (अधिक जर्दी वाले अंडों में सामान्य) में, ब्लास्टोडिस्क पशु ध्रुव पर स्थित साइटोप्लाज़्म और विभाजित होती कोशिकाओं की स्थानीय डिस्क होती है; यह प्रारम्भिक भ्रूणीय संरचनाएँ बनाती है और इसी से भ्रूण विकसित होता है।
