Origin & History
From the practice of labeling axes with letters (A, B, C...) in engineering and machine-tool standards; “axis” comes from Latin axis (“axle, pivot”). In CNC terminology, B specifically denotes one of the rotary axes in addition to linear axes (X, Y, Z).
इंजीनियरिंग और मशीन-टूल मानकों में अक्षों को अक्षरों (A, B, C...) से चिन्हित करने की परंपरा से; “axis” शब्द लैटिन axis (“धुरा/धुरी, केंद्र-बिंदु”) से आया है। CNC शब्दावली में B विशेष रूप से रैखिक अक्षों (X, Y, Z) के अतिरिक्त घूर्णी अक्षों में से एक को दर्शाता है।
Definition
The B-axis is an axis identified by the letter “B” in technical contexts. In mathematics/engineering it may denote a particular coordinate or reference axis (often the second axis in a defined set). In CNC machining it commonly refers to a rotary axis (B) that rotates around a specified linear axis to position the tool or workpiece accurately.
B-अक्ष वह अक्ष है जिसे तकनीकी संदर्भों में अक्षर “B” से चिन्हित किया जाता है। गणित/इंजीनियरिंग में यह किसी विशेष निर्देशांक या संदर्भ-अक्ष को दर्शा सकता है (अक्सर परिभाषित सेट में दूसरा अक्ष)। CNC मशीनिंग में यह प्रायः एक घूर्णी अक्ष (B) होता है जो किसी निर्दिष्ट रैखिक अक्ष के चारों ओर घूमकर टूल या वर्कपीस को सटीक स्थिति में लाने में मदद करता है।
