Definition
Amelanistic describes an organism or condition in which melanin (the dark pigment in skin, hair, scales, feathers, or eyes) is absent or greatly reduced, leading to unusually light or white coloration.
Amelanistic उस जीव/अवस्था को कहते हैं जिसमें मेलानिन (त्वचा, बाल, शल्क, पंख या आँखों का गहरा रंगद्रव्य) अनुपस्थित या बहुत कम होता है, जिससे रंग असामान्य रूप से हल्का या सफ़ेद दिखाई देता है।
