“All right” (all + right) की बाद में बनी वर्तनी/रूपांतरित लिखावट; इसका प्रयोग 19वीं सदी के अंत–20वीं सदी की शुरुआत से मिलता है। बोलचाल/अनौपचारिक संदर्भों में बहुत प्रचलित है, पर औपचारिक लेखन में कभी-कभी इसे कम उपयुक्त माना जाता है।

“Alright” is an informal form of “all right” used to mean ‘fine/OK’, to say that something is satisfactory or safe, or to show agreement (“Alright, I’ll do it”). In formal writing, “all right” is often preferred.
