Definition
An airship is a lighter-than-air aircraft that floats because it contains lifting gas (usually helium) and is controlled with engines and rudders, used historically for transport, observation, and advertising.
एयरशिप (वायुपोत) हवा से हल्का विमान होता है जो भीतर भरी उठाने वाली गैस (आमतौर पर हीलियम) के कारण तैरता/उड़ता है और इंजन व रडर से नियंत्रित होता है; इसका उपयोग इतिहास में परिवहन, निगरानी और विज्ञापन आदि के लिए किया गया है।
