Definition
“Vocalising” is the act of using the voice to utter sounds or express something; it can also mean wordless singing. In linguistics it may refer to a consonant becoming vowel-like (e.g., /l/ at the end of a syllable) or changing a sound from voiceless to voiced; in some scripts it also means adding vowel points/marks.
