Upflooding refers to a situation where water rises rapidly and floods an area, often because of heavy rain, river overflow, storm surge, or backflow through drainage systems.
Upflooding বলতে এমন অবস্থা বোঝায় যেখানে পানি দ্রুত বেড়ে কোনো এলাকা প্লাবিত করে—প্রায়ই অতিবৃষ্টি, নদীর পানি উপচে পড়া, ঝড়জনিত জলোচ্ছ্বাস, বা ড্রেনেজ ব্যবস্থায় ব্যাকফ্লো (উল্টো প্রবাহ) হওয়ার কারণে।
