Definition
Timberline is the boundary on mountains or in cold regions marking the highest altitude (or harshest climate) where trees can grow; above it, conditions are too cold, windy, or the growing season is too short for forests.
টিম্বারলাইন হলো পাহাড় বা শীতল অঞ্চলের সেই সীমারেখা, যেখানে পর্যন্ত গাছ জন্মাতে পারে; এর ওপরে অতিরিক্ত ঠান্ডা, প্রবল বাতাস বা খুব ছোট বৃদ্ধিঋতুর কারণে বন বা গাছপালা আর টিকে থাকতে পারে না।
