ইংরেজি sun (রোদ/সূর্য) + cured (কিউর করা/পেকে সংরক্ষণ করা) থেকে গঠিত; সূর্যালোকে শুকিয়ে বা পেকে সংরক্ষিত পণ্য (বিশেষত তামাক ও খাদ্য) বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত।
Definition
Prepared by drying or curing in direct sunlight so that moisture is reduced and the material is preserved or its taste/aroma develops (commonly used for tobacco, olives, tomatoes, and similar products).
