Subjectification is the process in which meanings, interpretations, or representations move from being objective or external to being grounded in a subject’s (speaker’s/thinker’s) viewpoint, attitudes, or stance; in linguistics it often describes how a form develops meanings tied to the speaker’s evaluation rather than to observable facts.
সাবজেক্টিফিকেশন হলো এমন একটি প্রক্রিয়া যেখানে অর্থ, ব্যাখ্যা বা উপস্থাপন কোনো বস্তুনিষ্ঠ/বাহ্যিক ভিত্তি থেকে সরে এসে কোনো বিষয় (বক্তা/চিন্তক)-এর দৃষ্টিভঙ্গি, মনোভাব বা অবস্থান-নির্ভর হয়ে ওঠে; ভাষাবিজ্ঞানে এটি প্রায়ই বোঝায় যে কোনো ভাষার রূপ ধীরে ধীরে পর্যবেক্ষণযোগ্য তথ্যে নয়, বরং বক্তার মূল্যায়ন বা মনোভাব-সম্পর্কিত অর্থ গ্রহণ করে।
