Stenograph বলতে মূলত স্টেনোগ্রাফার/শর্টহ্যান্ড-লেখককে বোঝায়—যিনি আদালত, সভা বা ডিকটেশনের সময় শর্টহ্যান্ড পদ্ধতিতে খুব দ্রুত কথাবার্তা লিখে নেন।
