From theatre terminology: a stage manager oversees and coordinates a performance; figuratively, the past participle stage-managed came to mean ‘orchestrated behind the scenes’ (common from the mid-20th century).
থিয়েটারের পরিভাষা থেকে: স্টেজ ম্যানেজার মঞ্চ-প্রদর্শনী তদারকি ও সমন্বয় করেন; রূপকার্থে stage-managed (ভূতকৃদন্ত) বলতে ‘পর্দার আড়ালে পরিচালিত/সাজানো’ অর্থে ব্যবহৃত হতে থাকে (বিশেষত ২০শ শতকের মাঝামাঝি থেকে)।
