Definition
Skuas are robust, gull-like seabirds found mainly in cold and temperate oceans; they often chase terns, gulls, or other seabirds until the victim drops its catch, and they also eat fish, carrion, and eggs.
স্কুয়া হলো শক্তপোক্ত, গাঙচিল-সদৃশ সামুদ্রিক শিকারি পাখি, যারা প্রধানত শীতল ও নাতিশীতোষ্ণ সাগরে দেখা যায়; তারা প্রায়ই টার্ন/গাঙচিলসহ অন্যান্য পাখিকে তাড়া করে তাদের ধরা খাবার ফেলে দিতে বাধ্য করে, আর মাছ, মৃতদেহ (ক্যারিয়ন) ও ডিমও খায়।
