From poacher (one who poaches), related to the verb poach; in the ‘illegal hunting’ sense it developed from notions of taking game unlawfully.

Definition
Poachers primarily refers to people who trespass or break wildlife laws to hunt or take animals/plants from the wild; in other contexts it can mean an egg-poaching pan, a football attacker who scores from close range (goal poacher), certain elongated fishes (family Agonidae), or the American wigeon.
‘Poachers’ বলতে প্রধানত এমন লোকদের বোঝায় যারা অনধিকার প্রবেশ করে বা বন্যপ্রাণী-সংক্রান্ত আইন ভেঙে বনে/প্রকৃতি থেকে প্রাণী বা উদ্ভিদ অবৈধভাবে শিকার/ধরে/সংগ্রহ করে; অন্য প্রসঙ্গে এটি ডিম পোচ করার পাত্র, ফুটবলে কাছ থেকে সুযোগ কাজে লাগিয়ে গোল করা আক্রমণকারী (গোল পোচার), আগোনিডি পরিবারের লম্বাটে কিছু মাছ, কিংবা আমেরিকান উইজেন (একধরনের হাঁস) বোঝাতেও ব্যবহৃত হতে পারে।
