From pipe + line; recorded in English from the late 19th century for transport pipes, later extended metaphorically to mean a sequence of stages in business/technology.
pipe + line থেকে গঠিত; ইংরেজিতে উনবিংশ শতকের শেষ ভাগে পরিবহন-সংক্রান্ত পাইপের অর্থে প্রচলিত হয়, পরে রূপক অর্থে ব্যবসা/প্রযুক্তিতে ধাপভিত্তিক প্রক্রিয়া বোঝাতেও ব্যবহৃত হতে শুরু করে।
Definition
A pipeline is (1) a long tube or network of pipes used to carry substances like oil, gas, or water over distance, and (2) a structured process or set of stages through which something (projects, data, recruits, software builds) moves steadily toward completion.
পাইপলাইন হলো (১) তেল, গ্যাস বা পানি ইত্যাদি পদার্থ দূরত্ব অতিক্রম করে বহন করার জন্য ব্যবহৃত দীর্ঘ নল বা পাইপের নেটওয়ার্ক, এবং (২) কোনো কাজ/প্রকল্প/ডেটা/প্রার্থী/সফটওয়্যার বিল্ডকে ধাপে ধাপে এগিয়ে সম্পন্ন করার জন্য সাজানো প্রক্রিয়া বা পর্যায়ক্রমিক ব্যবস্থা।
