From Latin percussus, past participle of percutere (“to strike through; to beat”), from per- (“through”) + quatere (“to shake, strike”).
লাতিন percussus (percutere ক্রিয়ার past participle) থেকে এসেছে; percutere অর্থ ‘আঘাত করা/প্রহার করা’, যা per- (‘মধ্যে দিয়ে/ভেদ করে’) + quatere (‘ঝাঁকানো, আঘাত করা’) থেকে গঠিত।
Definition
Percussed means having been struck, tapped, or hit (often rhythmically), and in medical contexts it means a body part was examined by tapping to assess sound and underlying condition.
Percussed বলতে বোঝায় আঘাত করা, টোকা মারা বা বারবার আঘাতে বাজানো (প্রায়ই ছন্দময়ভাবে); আর চিকিৎসাবিজ্ঞানে এর অর্থ হলো শারীরিক পরীক্ষার অংশ হিসেবে শরীরের কোনো অংশে টোকা দিয়ে শব্দ/কম্পন দেখে ভেতরের অবস্থা নির্ণয় করা।
