Definition
Palla refers to the loose, draped end of a sari (the part brought over the shoulder and sometimes used to cover the head). It can also mean a decorative or ceremonial cloth worn like a shawl in some Indian traditions.
পল্লা বলতে সাধারণত শাড়ির আলগা/ঝুলন্ত শেষ অংশকে বোঝায় (যেটি কাঁধের ওপর আনা হয় এবং কখনও মাথা ঢাকতেও ব্যবহৃত হয়)। কিছু ভারতীয় প্রথায় এটি শাল/ওড়নার মতো সাজসজ্জা বা আনুষ্ঠানিক কাপড়কেও নির্দেশ করতে পারে।
