From northern + -er (a person from a place); ultimately from Old English norþ (“north”).
‘northern’ + ‘-er’ (কোনো স্থানের মানুষ বোঝাতে) থেকে গঠিত; ‘north’ শব্দটি প্রাচীন ইংরেজি ‘norþ’ (উত্তর) থেকে এসেছে।
Definition
A northerner is someone native to or living in the north of a place (a country, region, or the world), for example the northern United States or northern Norway.
‘Northerner’ বলতে এমন একজন মানুষকে বোঝায় যিনি কোনো দেশ/অঞ্চল/বিশ্বের উত্তর অংশের বাসিন্দা বা সেখানকার স্থানীয়; যেমন যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের উত্তরাঞ্চল বা নরওয়ের উত্তরাঞ্চলের কেউ।
