Formed in modern technical English from non- (“not”) + rotatable (“able to rotate”), from rotate (Latin rotare, from rota “wheel”).

Nonrotatable describes something that cannot be turned or made to rotate, either because of its design, a lock/constraint, or because rotation is not permitted in a given use.
