Formed in English from the prefix non- (“not”) + ethnographic (from ethnography, ultimately from Greek éthnos “people, nation” + -graphy “writing, description”).
ইংরেজিতে non- (“না/অ-”) উপসর্গ + ethnographic (ethnography থেকে; উৎসত গ্রিক éthnos “জনগোষ্ঠী/জাতি” + -graphy “লেখন/বর্ণনা”) মিলিয়ে গঠিত।
Definition
Not based on ethnographic methods (such as participant observation or fieldwork) and not intended to describe a culture from close, lived experience.
