Definition
Describing something (a behavior, identity, practice, or data pattern) that does not fit what a society, group, or system treats as “normal” or standard; often used neutrally in academic writing rather than as a judgment.
যে কোনো আচরণ, পরিচয়, চর্চা বা তথ্য-ধারা সমাজ/গোষ্ঠী/ব্যবস্থা যে মানদণ্ডকে “স্বাভাবিক” বা মানক হিসেবে ধরে, তার সাথে মেলে না—এমন কিছুকে বোঝায়; একাডেমিক লেখায় এটি অনেক সময় নিরপেক্ষভাবে ব্যবহৃত হয়, মূল্যায়নমূলক অর্থে নয়।
