From Middle English mulberie, from Old English morbēam (“mulberry tree”), ultimately from Latin mōrum (“mulberry”) with a Germanic element meaning “tree.”

Definition
Mulberries are the edible berries produced by mulberry trees (Morus), and the word can also refer to the trees themselves; additionally, “mulberry” names a dark purplish-red colour.
Mulberries বলতে তুঁতগাছ (Morus) থেকে উৎপন্ন ভক্ষণযোগ্য ফল (তুঁতফল) বোঝায়; কখনও তুঁতগাছগুলোকেও বোঝায়; এছাড়া “mulberry” একটি গাঢ় বেগুনি-লাল রঙের নামও।
