আরবি ‘কালিমা’ (كَلِمَة) থেকে এসেছে, যার অর্থ ‘শব্দ/উক্তি’; ইসলামী ব্যবহারে এটি বিশ্বাসের ঘোষণাসূত্র বা ঈমানের বাক্য বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত।
Definition
Kalima refers to an Islamic statement of belief or formula of faith, most commonly the Shahada, and is recited for religious affirmation and devotion.
‘কালিমা’ ইসলামে বিশ্বাসের ঘোষণা বা ঈমানের বাক্য/সূত্রকে বোঝায়; সবচেয়ে প্রচলিত হলো শাহাদা, যা ধর্মীয় স্বীকৃতি ও ইবাদতের অংশ হিসেবে পাঠ করা হয়।
