‘শ্রী’ একটি সম্মানসূচক শব্দ/উপাধি; ব্যক্তিনামের আগে শ্রদ্ধা প্রকাশ করতে, দেবতা-দেবীর নামের আগে পূজ্যার্থে, এবং সৌভাগ্য, ঐশ্বর্য, কল্যাণ ও শোভা বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়; কখনও ‘শ্রীমতী/শ্রীমৎ’ ইত্যাদির অংশ হিসেবেও থাকে
