সংস্কৃত ‘সারাংশ’ (সার + অংশ) থেকে উদ্ভূত; বাংলায় ‘সারাংশ’ শব্দের সঙ্গে লোকেটিভ বিভক্তি ‘-এ’ যোগ হয়ে ‘সারাংশে’ হয়েছে

Derived from Sanskrit ‘সারাংশ’ (essence + part); in Bengali the locative suffix ‘-এ’ is added to form ‘সারাংশে’ meaning ‘in the summary/essence’
