‘প্রদান’ শব্দটি সংস্কৃত ‘প্র’ উপসর্গ + ধাতু ‘দা’ (দেওয়া) থেকে গঠিত; ‘করছে’ বাংলা ক্রিয়াপদ ‘করা’-র বর্তমান চলমান রূপ, ফলে ‘প্রদান করছে’ অর্থে ‘দিয়ে/প্রদান করে চলেছে’
‘pradān’ is formed from Sanskrit prefix ‘pra-’ plus the root ‘dā’ (“to give”); ‘korche’ is Bengali present-continuous of ‘kora’ (“to do”), so ‘pradān korche’ means “is giving/providing (ongoing)”

‘প্রদান করছে’ বলতে বোঝায় কোনো ব্যক্তি/প্রতিষ্ঠান বর্তমানে কাউকে কিছু দিচ্ছে, সরবরাহ করছে, দান করছে বা প্রদান করার কাজটি করছে—অর্থাৎ কাজটি চলমান অবস্থায় আছে
