দখলদারী বলতে আইনগত অধিকার ছাড়াই বা অন্যায়ভাবে কারও জমি-ঘর, সম্পদ, প্রতিষ্ঠান, পদ, সুযোগ-সুবিধা ইত্যাদি নিজের নিয়ন্ত্রণে নিয়ে নেওয়া ও ধরে রাখাকে বোঝায়; সামাজিক-রাজনৈতিক প্রেক্ষিতে এটি ক্ষমতা বা কর্তৃত্ব জবরদখলের অর্থেও ব্যবহৃত হয়
