Definition
Wardship is the legal or formal condition in which a person (often a child) is placed under the care, protection, and authority of a guardian or the court; it includes the duties and rights involved in looking after the ward’s welfare and property.
वार्डशिप वह कानूनी/औपचारिक स्थिति है जिसमें किसी व्यक्ति (अक्सर किसी बच्चे) को किसी अभिभावक या अदालत की देखरेख, संरक्षण और अधिकार के अधीन रखा जाता है; इसमें वार्ड के कल्याण और संपत्ति की देखभाल से जुड़े कर्तव्य और अधिकार शामिल होते हैं।
