From tea + house; modeled on establishments known as tea houses/tea rooms, popular in parts of Asia and later in English-speaking countries (attested from the 18th–19th centuries).
'tea' + 'house' से बना शब्द; एशिया के कई हिस्सों में प्रचलित चायघरों/टी-रूम जैसी संस्थाओं के आधार पर, बाद में अंग्रेज़ी-भाषी देशों में भी लोकप्रिय हुआ (लगभग 18वीं–19वीं शताब्दी से प्रमाणित)।
Definition
A teahouse is a place where people go to drink tea and often eat small foods; in many cultures it is also a relaxed social space for conversation, meetings, or rest.
