Definition
Tar is usually a black, oily, sticky substance made from organic materials (like wood or coal) and is used for waterproofing and road/roof work; it can also mean the residue from tobacco smoke, and in slang it may refer to a sailor or black-tar heroin; as a verb it means to cover something with tar or to damage someone’s reputation.
टार (tar) आम तौर पर काला, तैलीय, चिपचिपा पदार्थ होता है जो लकड़ी/कोयले जैसे जैविक पदार्थों से बनता है और जलरोधक बनाने तथा सड़क/छत के काम में उपयोग होता है; यह तंबाकू के धुएँ से बनने वाले अवशेष के लिए भी प्रयुक्त होता है, और बोलचाल में नाविक या “ब्लैक-टार” हेरोइन के लिए भी कहा जा सकता है; क्रिया के रूप में इसका अर्थ टार से लेप करना या किसी की प्रतिष्ठा को बदनाम करना है।
