Definition
Subsidence is (1) the downward movement or settling of the ground or a structure, often due to loss of support underground (such as erosion, mining, or drying/shrinking clay), and (2) a gradual reduction in something like flooding, pain, or excitement.
Subsidence का अर्थ है (1) ज़मीन या किसी संरचना का नीचे धँसना/बैठना, जो अक्सर भूमिगत सहारे के कम होने (जैसे कटाव, खनन, या मिट्टी का सूखकर सिकुड़ना) से होता है, और (2) किसी चीज़ में धीरे-धीरे कमी आना, जैसे बाढ़, दर्द, या उत्तेजना का कम होना।
