Definition
Speech refers to (1) the human ability to produce spoken language, (2) a formal talk delivered to an audience (e.g., a campaign speech), (3) someone’s manner/style of speaking, and (4) in grammar, words represented in writing as direct or reported speech; it can also mean a language/dialect or general talk/rumour.
