Definition
A scandal is something (an incident, behavior, or rumor) that is widely considered shameful or improper and therefore damages the reputation of a person, family, or organization; it can also mean the resulting disgrace or even malicious gossip/slander.
स्कैंडल (कांड/घोटाला) ऐसी घटना, व्यवहार या अफ़वाह को कहते हैं जिसे समाज शर्मनाक/अनुचित मानता है और जिससे किसी व्यक्ति, परिवार या संस्था की प्रतिष्ठा को नुकसान पहुँचता है; कभी-कभी इसका अर्थ हुई बदनामी या बदनाम करने वाली गपशप/निंदा भी होता है।
