From the verb refund (re- ‘back’ + fund) + -able ‘capable of’; developed in modern English for money that can be returned.
refund (re- ‘वापस’ + fund ‘राशि/धन’) क्रिया से बना, जिसमें -able ‘सक्षम/योग्य’ प्रत्यय जोड़ा गया; आधुनिक अंग्रेज़ी में उन भुगतानों/राशियों के लिए प्रयोग जो वापस किए जा सकते हैं।
Definition
If something is refundable, you can return it or cancel it and get your money back, usually under stated conditions (time limit, receipt, policy).
यदि कोई चीज़ refundable है, तो आप उसे लौटाकर या बुकिंग/सेवा रद्द करके (निर्धारित शर्तों जैसे समय-सीमा, रसीद, नीति के अनुसार) अपना पैसा वापस पा सकते हैं।
