Reflectivity is a measurable property that describes how much incoming light, heat (infrared), or other electromagnetic radiation a material reflects rather than absorbs or transmits. It is often expressed as a ratio or percentage and depends on factors like surface texture, color, wavelength, and angle of incidence.
परावर्तकता एक मापनीय गुण है जो बताता है कि कोई पदार्थ आने वाले प्रकाश, ऊष्मा (इन्फ्रारेड) या अन्य विद्युतचुंबकीय विकिरण को अवशोषित या पारित करने की बजाय कितना परावर्तित करता है। इसे अक्सर अनुपात या प्रतिशत के रूप में व्यक्त किया जाता है और यह सतह की बनावट, रंग, तरंगदैर्घ्य तथा आपतन कोण जैसे कारकों पर निर्भर करती है।
