From Latin radiāre (“to emit rays, to shine”), via English radiate + -or (“one/thing that does”); the heating/cooling device sense developed in the 19th century.
यह लैटिन radiāre (अर्थ: “किरणें निकालना/चमकना”) से निकला है; अंग्रेज़ी radiate + -or (“करने वाला/करने वाली वस्तु”) से बना। हीटिंग/कूलिंग उपकरण वाला अर्थ 19वीं सदी में विकसित हुआ।
Definition
A radiator is a metal device, usually connected to a heating system in buildings or to a vehicle’s cooling system, that transfers heat to the surrounding air (or removes heat from an engine) by radiation and convection.
रेडिएटर एक धातु का उपकरण है, जो आमतौर पर इमारतों की हीटिंग प्रणाली या वाहनों की कूलिंग प्रणाली से जुड़ा होता है और विकिरण व संवहन के माध्यम से आसपास की हवा को गर्म करता है (या इंजन की गर्मी बाहर निकालता है)।
