Named after the Russian poet Alexander Pushkin; genus name Latinized as Puschkinia in botanical nomenclature.
इसका नाम रूसी कवि अलेक्ज़ेंडर पुश्किन के नाम पर रखा गया; वनस्पति नामकरण में इसे लैटिन रूप देकर Puschkinia बनाया गया।
Definition
Puschkinia is a genus of small, early-spring, bulbous flowering plants (often called striped squill) that produce delicate pale-blue or white, star-shaped flowers and are commonly cultivated in gardens.
पुस्किनिया वसंत ऋतु के शुरुआती समय में खिलने वाले छोटे, बल्बयुक्त फूलदार पौधों का एक वंश है (जिसे अक्सर स्ट्राइप्ड स्क्विल कहा जाता है)। इसमें हल्के नीले या सफेद, तारे जैसे फूल आते हैं और इसे प्रायः बगीचों में सजावटी पौधे के रूप में उगाया जाता है।
