Definition
“Purr” refers to a gentle vibrating sound made by a contented cat; by extension it can describe a soft, throaty, pleased way of speaking, or the low steady rumble of an engine running smoothly.
“Purr” उस हल्की कंपन वाली ध्वनि को कहते हैं जो संतुष्ट बिल्ली गले से निकालती है; विस्तार से यह किसी व्यक्ति की सुखद, गले से निकली मुलायम आवाज़/अंदाज़, या धीरे-धीरे चल रहे इंजन की लगातार गुनगुनाहट/गड़गड़ाहट के लिए भी प्रयोग होता है।
