Definition
A propulsor is a type of marine/vehicle propulsion unit in which a propeller sits inside a short duct or cylinder; the unit is often steerable (can swivel) so the thrust direction can be changed for maneuvering.
प्रोपल्सर एक प्रकार की प्रणोदन (propulsion) इकाई है जिसमें प्रोपेलर एक छोटे डक्ट/बेलन के भीतर लगा होता है; यह इकाई प्रायः घुमाई (स्विवेल) जा सकती है ताकि धक्के (थ्रस्ट) की दिशा बदलकर वाहन/नौका की चाल और मोड़ने की क्षमता (मैन्युवरिंग) नियंत्रित की जा सके।
