Definition
A preamplifier boosts low-level signals (such as from microphones, turntables/phono cartridges, or instrument pickups) to a higher “line-level” so they can be processed with less noise and then amplified by later stages.
प्रीऐम्प्लीफायर बहुत कमजोर सिग्नलों (जैसे माइक्रोफ़ोन, टर्नटेबल/फोनो कार्ट्रिज, या वाद्य पिकअप) को बढ़ाकर “लाइन-लेवल” तक ले जाता है ताकि कम शोर के साथ आगे प्रोसेसिंग हो सके और बाद के चरणों में उन्हें और बढ़ाया जा सके।
